Multifunction buttons

Use the 2 buttons to control up to 4 programmable functions (image capture, video recording, zoom and ARC (Advanced Red Contrast).

Suction button and connector

Connect suction and activate as needed by pressing button.

Bending section

Access difficult-to-reach areas with 195°/195° (5.6/2.8 and 5.0/2.2) and 210°/210° (4.2/2.2 and 2.7/1.2) bending angles, distal tip angulation range, flexible insertion tube and rotation function.

Control lever

Moves the distal tip up and down in a single plane.

Handle grip

Rounded tactile surface for optimal hand positioning.

Rotation ring

Designed to support access to difficult-to-reach areas and to ease insertion of endotherapy instruments allowing 120° left/right rotation.

Depth marks

Marks every 5 cm to measure the distance to or from a specific area.

ET Tube connection

For ET tube parking during insertion.

The Ambu® aBox™ 2 display and processing unit

aBox 2 is a full-HD resolution unit with a built-in touchscreen, intuitive user interface and plug-and-play connectivity. You can zoom in and out, capture images and videos, review them post-procedure with patients or colleagues. Furthermore, compatibility with PACS servers and electronic medical record software makes documentation smooth and efficient.
